This NJ safe driving course is state-approved for a Point Reduction (2 points) and for a 5% insurance discount. For point reduction, the New Jersey Defensive Driving Coursecan be taken once every 5 years and for an insurance discount it can be taken every 3 years.

Course Information

This could be the most important safety training of your driving career. The New Jersey Defensive Driving Course takes 6 hours in total to complete and is made up of 8 units. The units cover important NJ issues like city and highway driving, maintaining a safe vehicle, emergency preparedness, and common driver impairments.

There is a 10-question quiz at the end of each unit that will not affect your grade on the final exam. If you have any questions or concerns at any point, contact our customer service department and we'll clear up the issue!

Final Exam

At the end of the New Jersey Point Reduction course, students need to pass a 25-question final exam. You have a total of 3 attempts to score 80% on the test. The questions are pulled straight from the material that you have been studying.

Completion Certificate

Within one business day of exam clearance, your Certificate of Completion will be processed and sent with the delivery method you choose. This certificate is key for receiving your insurance discount and New Jersey Point Reduction. When do you need it? We can even deliver overnight.
