Virginia Drivers Education Course Information:
At NDSS we understand that
it is important for your teen’s safety that he or she thoroughly
understands the rules of the road. The main goal of the
Virginia Driver Education course is to teach safe
driving strategies. We also provide you with important
information regarding the Highway Transportation System. NDSS has
spent countless hours perfecting the content of the Virginia
Drivers Ed course, and we also provide you with a printable guide
that you will help you teach your child how to drive.
The Virginia Teen Driver
Training course is divided into 8 units, which are further
divided into modules. At the beginning of each module there is
an introduction that lists the learning objectives for that
particular module. Once your teen has completed a module, he or
she must take a short quiz. The passing score for the quizzes is
80%. The quizzes are graded instantly so that you can go back
and review the material if you have to retake a quiz.
Final Exam:
The final exam for the
Virginia DMV Approved Teen Driver Education course consists
of 50 multiple choice questions. The exam is based on the
material that you have learned throughout the course. A score of
80% on the final exam is needed in order to pass the course. The
final exam may be retaken as many times as needed to pass the
exam.
Completion Certificate
Once your teen has passed
the final exam, NDSS will mail out their Certificate of
Completion. Your child must present this certificate to the DMV
in order to take the written permit test.
