State Approval:

This Maine Defensive Driving Course is approved by the Maine Bureau of Highway Safety. Those who complete this driver safety course will receive a 3-point demerit credit on their driver record.

Course Information

The 6-hour Maine traffic school online course consists of 8 units, each of which contains driving safety tips and information regarding Maine traffic laws. Some of the specific topics covered in the course are city vs. freeway driving, driving under the influence, and vehicle maintenance.

Throughout the Maine Defensive driving course you will have to complete a series of 10-question quizzes. The quizzes are in a multiple-choice format and are based solely on the course material. These quizzes will help you determine which material you need to go back and review before attempting the final exam.

Final Exam

In order to receive your completion certificate, you must complete a final exam. The final exam consists of 50 questions regarding the content that you have read throughout the course. If you do not pass the final exam, you may retake it at no additional cost.

Completion Certificate

Your Certificate of Completion is sent electronically to the DMV once you have passed the final exam for the course. Certificates are sent each weekday. Once you pass the final, you're done with our course - we take care of everything else for you!
