Arizona Defensive Driving Course Online State Approval:

If you get a ticket in the state of Arizona you may be eligible to take a defensive driving course without appearing in court. If you do go to court, the judge may order you to take a defensive driving course in order to clear your Arizona traffic ticket.    • The Arizona Defensive Driving Course is approved for court-ordered diversion attendance. Those who are ordered to complete traffic school by the court but do not have to pay a fine are eligible for court-ordered diversion attendance.

• The Arizona Defensive driving Course is approved for those who are ordered by the court to attend to traffic school and pay a fine.

Defensive Driving Course Information:

The 4-hour Arizona Defensive Driving Online Course is divided into 12 chapters. After each chapter you will take a short quiz. You must answer all of the questions correctly in order to move on to the next chapter; however you may retake the quiz as many times as you need in order to do so. Each quiz is automatically graded so that you can go back and review the material if you need to retake the quiz.

Final Exam:

Once you have completed all 12 chapters of the AZ Defensive Driving Course, you will take a final exam. This exam is divided into two parts, the first of which consists of 25 questions. The questions on this portion of the exam address the information that you have covered throughout the course. You only need to answer 80% of the questions correctly on this portion of the exam in order to pass. If you fail this portion of the exam, it may be retaken. The second part of the final exam consists of 25 questions regarding the physical aspects of the Arizona Traffic School course. 90% is considered a passing score on this portion of the exam.

Completion Certificate:

Once you have successfully passed both parts of the final exam, you will receive your Certificate of Completion. We provide you with step by step instructions that state the manner in which you will receive your Certificate of Completion and what you are supposed to do with each copy.
